Within the next 24 hours the Warmest Welcome email server will be migrating to a new package and your old settings will no longer work. You will find that Outlook will ask you for username/password details or simply say server cannot be found.
We are using this moment to also move away from the current jobrole@warmestwelcomeltd.com to your new j.bloggs@wwcare.co.uk address. All emails sent to your old address will be forwarded on to you, so nothing will be lost.
There are detailed step-by-step instructions below on how to add your new account and transfer your old emails across. If you run into any issues just give me a call.
Step 1 – Add your new account
You will need to add your new email account into Outlook in the following way:
- Click “File” in the top left
- Click “Add Account”
- Type in your new wwcare.co.uk email address and click the blue “Connect” button
- If you are then asked for your password, enter it and click the blue “Connect” button and move to “Step 2 – Transfer Inbox”.
If you see this screen then click IMAP:

Then enter the details as below:

Click the blue “Next button, type in your password and click the blue “Connect” button.
Step 2 – Transfer inbox
- Scroll to the bottom of your old Inbox and click on the very last email
- On your keyboard hold down the “CTRL” key and press the “A” key – this will highlight all emails in blue
- Release the “CTRL” and “A” keys – the emails will remain highlighted
- Click “Move” in the menu at the top of your screen
- A menu will drop down – click “Other Folder”
- A window will appear – select your new Inbox and click “OK”
- Wait for the copy to complete
Step 3 – Transfer sent emails
- Scroll to the bottom of your old Sent folder and click on the very last email
- On your keyboard hold down the “CTRL” key and press the “A” key – this will highlight all emails in blue
- Release the “CTRL” and “A” keys – the emails will remain highlighted
- Click “Move” in the menu at the top of your screen
- A menu will drop down – click “Other Folder”
- A window will appear – select your new Sent folder and click “OK”
- Wait for the copy to complete
Step 4 – Transfer other folders (if applicable)
If you were using additional folders in your old email account this is how to copy them across:
- Right click on the folder name
- Click “Move Folder” in the menu that appears
- Select your new Inbox in the window that appears
- Click OK
- Wait for the folder copy to complete
- Repeat steps 1-5 for any other folders
Step 5 – Check and finalise
Please ensure that all emails are showing in your new account, and then contact me to finalise the transfer and remove your old account. Any problems please give me a call.
